Grilled Steak

    Marinade: Olive oil and salt and pepper | To taste

    Chuck Steak

    Neutral oil (canola or grapeseed) | 1 TBS
    Begin by marinating your steak with olive oil and salt and pepper to taste

    Preheat an oven to 400°

    Heat neutral oil to high in a pan

    Sear each side of steak until deep brown | 2 min per side

    Place seared steak in the preheated oven until internal temperature is 140° | 5-15 min

    Rest steak before slicing | 10 min

    Cut on the bias and against the grain | 1” cubes (Link 3)
*Pro Tip:
    Marinate your steak for at least two hours in the morning or for up to 3 days ahead of time.

    The oil will be shiny and less thick when it’s ready to use
